How to use the remote to set up different modes:
If you want this light always on constantly, press mode 3 for this.
If you want this light to be on during the daytime, press mode 4.
Mode 1 and 2, works with motion sensor.
In mode 1, the light stays dim, turns on with full blast when senses motion and goes back to dim mode after 30 seconds
Mode 2, the light stays dark and turns on when senses motion and goes back to off mode after 30 seconds

1. Does the motion sensor work in the daytime?
- It depends. If the light is connected to the solar panel, the motion-sensing function in modes 1 and 2 is only available after dusk or when the solar panel is covered.If the light is detached from the solar panel, the motion sensor works anytime.
2. Does the light only work when connected with the solar panel?
-No the pendant light works even it is detached from the solar panel. Once it is fully charged for about 8 hours, it can be used as a portable lamp, a temporary light source for camping or can be hung anywhere indoors, giving up to 8 hours of illumination.
