FAQs
1. Does the motion sensor work in the daytime?
- It depends. If the light is connected to the solar panel, the motion-sensing function in modes 1 and 2 is only available after dusk or when the solar panel is covered.If the light is detached from the solar panel, the motion sensor works anytime.
2. Does the light only work when connected with the solar panel?
-No the pendant light works even it is detached from the solar panel. Once it is fully charged for about 8 hours, it can be used as a portable lamp, a temporary light source for camping or can be hung anywhere indoors, giving up to 8 hours of illumination.
3. What I should do during winter if I am not using the light?
-If the light isn’t in use during winter time or not in regular use anytime of the year, we recommend to keep the pendant light disconnected from the cable. The battery packs are installed in the pendant light fixture, if the battery kept on charging during day time and light not being used, the battery will be overloaded at point and will get damaged. It’s important to charge and discharge the battery on regular basis to maintain the longevity of the battery. This applies for all solar lights.
